In a message, Hotez wrote that Texas Children’s Hospital was seeking to share the vaccine technology widely, adding that it had licensed it to firms in Indonesia, Bangladesh and Botswana, in addition to India. There were “no patents, no strings attached, in fact, we use our modest funding to help in the co-development,” Hotez wrote.
